What If We Move to Mars

So.. did you has watching The Martian? If you don't, same. I also don't have time to watch it. But that's scored the box office ( yeah, I'm not a film expert, if you want to see the synopsis, look at IMDb.). So just end the film review. Back to our topics, in this 3rd articles from this series, we are now leaving the Mercury and Venus and go to Mars. What If.... you move to Mars?

That's lot of CO2 in Mars and Venus!
1. You Can't Breathe
Yeah, I bored to write this again. But, yeah! I still start using this. So you don't have any atmosphere at Mercury and you will have to breathe with CO2 at Venus. How about the Mars? Yeah, unfortunately you will have to breathe in CO2 again. (You) What? I has breathe many liters of CO2 in Venus and I still need to breathe CO2 again? Yeah, but that's the fact. Mars atmosphere is composed from 95,97% of CO2, 1,98% of Argon, 1,89% of Nitrogen, 0,146% of Oxygen, and 0,0557% of CO. So your MarsCar still need that CO2→O2 converter. Your Spacesuit must equipped with CO2→O2 converter or lots of Oxygen.

Mars temperature. Look at "hot" part. That's still in minus ℃
2. You Will Freezing
Okay, you may don't freezing in Mars, if you are living in perfect place you will not freezing. The fact is at average Mars temperature is -60℃. But, you know, as in the Earth, the equator are hotter than at the poles. This also applies in Mars. At the Mars equator, the temperature is can reach 20℃ at the summer day.
But because Mars don't have thermal blanket, (thermal blanket is system that able to retain the thermal energy. Earth have this one.(if you want to understand it, use your Teddy Bear blanket. You will still feel warm even when there's no outside warmer because your blanket are able to retain heat from your body)) at the night the Mars temperature can reach -73℃. (Actually you still freezing). If at the equator the temperature was that extreme, look the temperature at Mars poles. At Mars poles, the temperature can gets into -125℃. This temperature actually 1,5 times colder than dry ice that use in your dry-ice ice cream.

Did he looks like WALL-E?
3. You Can't Plant Anything
The Mars are called red planet because it have a yellow to red surface (yeah). But, why Mars have red color? This because it surface was makes from iron-oxide or in your usual language, rusting iron. Now, you know that the Mars surface is not makes from dirt. Just imagine, did you have metal pipes? Can you plant dandelion at that pipes? Absolutely not. The plant root are not strong enough to breach the iron. If it somehow can pierce that iron, the plant don't need too much iron. It will die because iron poisoning. So, how did you plant your orchids flowers here? My tips, bring your dirt and your broken bottle to Mars and plant your orchids on that. #simple.

4. Your Weight Will Be Lesser than At The Earth
Good news for you that in diet. So the Mars are smaller than the Earth, and it having less gravitational forces. Don't be optimistic, you will not jumping around like you'd in moon or Venus. This will affect your body, because you are added osteoporosis risk. This are also what happens in the ISS. Because you need less energy to move around, calcium in your bone will be released. Answer for this question? You need to doing sports there. At the Mars. But this come to not fun like you that works in gym. Just ask the ISS crew. Or you want to doing Sunday-jogging at the Mars?

He wasn't at Mars, he is in Mauna Loa, Hawaii, United State, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way ;)
5. You Can Build Building in Mars Without Material from Earth
Seriously (not too). Mars is make from iron (I suggest you to using the inner side of Mars that don't rusting) and you can mine it. Not only iron, Mars also contains aluminium, magnesium, silicon, calcium and many other elements. Okay, you still need materials from Earth like for make drilling machine, refining, storing, and machine for build something from that. But, still if you want iron house in the Mars you can using it. You can even make spacecraft to go to Oort Cloud (just maybe) because the Mars have lesser gravitational forces so you can launch spacecraft to space easily.
