What If We Move to Uranus and Neptune

So, after you go to the Saturn, you return to Uranus. I think you has become Pro Astronaut now. So you has experienced many guts, intoxicated, loss of body organs, and many deaths to arrive here. Don't be happy, your live is still unsafe. Two more planet, Uranus and Neptune! This episode is different from other from this series, I combined what happens in Uranus and Neptune in one episode. So, stay tuned for the last episode!

Uranus. Beautiful, right?
1.  You Will Face Long Time of Journey
The Apollo speed is around 38.400 km/h, or 40 times than your jet plane. So, if you using Apollo spacecraft to deliver your body from Earth to Uranus you need..... Okay, I will calculate this. 2.600.000.000/38.400=67.708 hours or about 2.821 days or about 7,7 years! That's enough to make you bored, if your spacecraft size, shape and speed is identical as Apollo spacecraft, you will BORED. So you need larger spacecraft and thousands of Earth movie or you need faster spacecraft
How about Neptune? Neptune is farthest-from-the-Sun planet in our Solar System, 4,46 billion km from Sun or 4,3 billion km from Earth. So how much time Apollo spacecraft need to travel from Earth to Neptune? Let us start the quick count! 4.300.000.000/38.400=111.979 h or 4.665 days or 12,7 years to reach this planet.
You're not only must bring DVD and iPod, you need a anti aging cream and maybe younger astronaut for backups. If your age is 40 when you start to drive right to Neptune, when you arrived there your age is becoming 53 years. If you live in Neptune for 5 years, when you return to Earth, your age is now 71 years. Your little kids now has become dad and mom, and you has skipping many important events in history, maybe USSR are back or US and Canada are becoming one country.

2. You Can Be Depressed Here
Yeah, far away from your family, only meet with the same person everyday, doing same thing everyday, only watched same movie, definitely can make stressful conditions for you. People that go to other planets are always feel this. Travel to other planets is not like traveling with your car, when you can stop at resting area or enjoy some tour in city that you travel through. It's way different. The condition can make some people to hurting themselves and other people, even do suicide or kill other people
But, there's solution for this. Before they send into this far planet, they are must be putted in isolation room for days or weeks and proved that they can survive through some period of loneliness. And, who is say send movie to other planets is impossible? It's possible, but the download/upload speed at other space is slow, so just be patient. The last thing is, maybe in your journey you meet other people (i.e. aliens)

Parts of Neptune.
3. You Need Other Sources of Energy
You can't using solar panels, obviously because it distance from Sun. You can't using coal, because you need lot of coal and oxygen to reach this 2 planet because it distance. You can't using hydroelectric, because (obviously) there's no river at the space and at the giant planet.
So, what I should use for adventure at this planet? I have the answer. You maybe want to consider to stopping at the Moon and refill the fuel tank with helium-3 that can be used for clean energy. Helium-3 are also available at all giant gas, so don't worry if you want to use that energy. Or you can using laser transferred electricity from Earth. But the laser efficiency for transfer electricity at such distance is can be questioned. Or you want to use 1.000.000 white mouse that running inside the running wheels? Just try it.

Neptune storm. It size very huge, some larger than the Earth!
4. Watch Out for The Wind!
Really. At this planet the wind are running fast, at Uranus the wind can reach 900 km/h. If you want to know, it speed was relative to modern passenger jet. That's fast, man! Neptune wind is... what did you think? It slower than the Uranus wind? Big NO! In fact, the wind at Neptune is the fastest compared to other planets at our Solar System! So, how fast is the Neptune wind? 2400 km/h. That's cool, right? It can be compared to Eurofighter Typoon speed, faster than the Concorde, and faster than snail that running at the leaf!
So, what happens if you exposed to the wind in Uranus? Your hair will not being messy, your hair will be fly to 200 km away place. And you will dead (absolutely). In Neptune? Worse. Your bone will destroyed and your body become ashes. And (again) you will dead.

Uranus temperature and pressure. 0℃= 273K
5. Brrr... it Freezing Here!
So, it distance was billion miles from Sun, what would you expecting? Hot beach? That's impossible! I remembering you, it cold here! You don't want to stray around this planet with only t-shirt and bare feet. It's freezing, man! The temperature at Uranus is around -153℃ up to -218℃. That's cold, right? How about Neptune? It's much cooler there! Neptune average temperature is -214℃ (actually, Uranus are the coldest planet in our solar system, it beating Neptune, so I write some wrong fact at 2 sentence before this).
So, how did you can survive in that condition? Use large warming machine. Or just don't leave our great Earth, you will not frozen. So this series are reach it end. Goodbye and stay tuned for other series!
